This folder contains 4 handwritten anecdotes. One page (Last Lines of Story of Toll Roads) begins "I knew most of the men whose names I have mentioned" [in BHS 301-2-8] and ends "I am glad I was born early enough to hear the stories of the Pioneer trail blazers and to bask in the light of their fires..." There are 2 copies of his article on meeting Czechoslovakia President Eduard Benes on Flagstaff Mountain in 1939, and notes on Benes' speech at C.U. on 12 June 1939. Sixteen page story entitled "Toll Roads."
